To borrow the Danish word hygge (a feeling of contentment and cosiness) perfectly describes this workshop. Glorious Scandinavian cardamom buns, Norwegian Skoleboller: enriched buns filled with an irresistible crème pâtissière and Vetelängd -a sweet, yeasted, almond filled loaf.
The morning will commence with coffee/tea and a run through of what you are going to learn to bake.
Louise will guide you, from choosing the best ingredients, to working and shaping the enriched dough in order to get the very best results. You’ll prepare the enriched dough which can then be used in several recipes.
To finish the session is the star of the show: vetelängd: A sweet yeasted loaf, filled with a vanilla and almond paste.The ultimately indulgent treat.
Attendees will take home all items they have made and recipes.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.
